Five Islands RV Campground is a short 4 to 5 hours from the U.S. border and a mere 80-90 minutes from the airports in Halifax and Moncton or the bridge to P.E.I.; what’s more, it is the ideal central base from which to experience the breathtaking panoramic views at the point where the waters divide (Cape Chignecto), see the beauty and the power of the currents at Cape D’Or, experience the tidal bore in Truro and most of all, enjoy the amazing phenomena of the tides on a day to day basis as you enjoy the great outdoors, relax, tour the many attractions in the area and partake in a host of sporting, entertainment or cultural events at our beautiful resort campground. Or if R & R is your goal, sit back and enjoy the amazing beauty and tranquility of our view while the rest of the family enjoys the excellent facilities and organized events at the park.

Directions:
From Moncton: Take Trans Canada Highway 2 south to Amherst (highway changes to #104 when entering Nova Scotia). Stay on this highway until exit 5, turning right at the end of the ramp and following the signs to Springhill. Continue through Springhill, following Hwy 2 south to Parrsboro, then turn east (left) at the Irving Gas Station and stay on Hwy 2 east for about 12 miles to Lower Five Islands and a spectacular view of the Five Islands from the highway. SCENIC!!! Or, if the weather is good, call us for directions to the shortcut over the mountain!
From Halifax: Take Highway 102 north to exit 15W and continue onto Trans Canada 104 towards Amherst. Take exit 12, turning right at the end of the ramp and going about a mile before turning left (west) onto Hwy 2 (Follow the signs pointing towards Five Islands, Bass River and Parrsboro). Travel 46 km/29 miles to Five Islands RV Campground (when you catch the BREATHTAKING PANORAMIC VIEW at the top of Economy Mountain, know that you are just a few minutes away). Enjoy the scenery!!
